How to travel from Dubai to Abu Dhabi via public transport?

There are an intercity public bus transportation for those who prefer a cheaper mode to travel. The duration of the journey and cost may vary depending on where you board the bus. You can choose 2 ways to board the intercity bus, Al Ghubaiba or Ibn Battuta.

We boarded bus E100 from Al Ghubaiba bus station as it is nearest from our hotel that we reside on. Using our silver Nol card, we informed the driver that we wish to alight at the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi (which is the last stop). We arrived 2.5 hours later in Abu Dhabi Bus terminal. Upon returning, we noticed that the bus stops at Al Jafiliya metro station, which is convenient for those who only travel along the red metro line to save time.

Tip: Make sure you have sufficient value in your Nol card. Else, you can purchase it at Abu Dhabi Bus Terminal or top up at Al Ghubaibah/Ibn Battuta stations
